About Us

prefabADU started out as an investment development company building ADU’s as a hobby. After the 2008 market crash the development side of the business would disappear. As families lost their homes and started to merge houses we found the hobby we loved so much transformed into our livelihood. 

From there we devoted our time into breaking down barriers surrounding ADU’s and affordable housing. Much of the ADU building code used currently in cities and counties have come to fruition from our many years of experience. Today we are building both ADU’s and custom homes while still finding new ways to be innovative with factory built housing.
